A set of illustrations drawn for a YSM News article that was published on the school's website on March 14, 2024. This article told stories of onstage mishaps from staffers and students anonymously.
I received total creative freedom on which stories to illustrate. A great opportunity to showcase my illustrative skill set. I drew fun and engaging illustrations that complimented the article's mood: lighthearted and fun. These illustrations were ultimately seen by the rest of the Yale community. The article was featured in a weekly email newsletter.
I continue to utilize thin black stroke lines to distinguish foreground from background. Each piece included gradients to create more depth in a 2D canvas.
