My expertise in the digital and social media spaces led me to near full autonomy of Matanky's social media profiles. I had a bold vision (and continued) to completely transform their digital presence with an established brand guideline that moved the 70 year old company into the 2020s.
While the company did not lack the desire to compete with bigger and national brands like JLL and CBRE, the brand fell behind in terms of design aesthetics and strategy. The color palette felt very much 1990s and specifically certain fonts were uninspiring. I wanted a typeface that was modern and met the moment. I wanted a color palette that brought the company into the future while respecting its great past.
The brand will continue to evolve as I get more familiar with the company's culture and values and the competitors, Matanky will be able to meet the moment and set the CRE trends (wishful thinking).
