Yale School of Music's concert series brings accomplished artists around world to New Haven, Connecticut. The series that is presented below is the Yale Philharmonia. This performing group offers the community a similar feel to a professional orchestra. Under the direction of Principal Conductor Peter Oundijian and guest conductors, they perform symphonic repertoire that previously has included music from Mozart, Mahler, and Tchaikovsky.
I held the title of interim Design Manager and led and oversaw all things design related at YSM included the branding and marketing efforts for the concert series below. During my a few months tenure, I had the opportunity to create the entire look and feel of TWO Philharmonia concerts. The repertoire and participants of each concert influenced the designs and advertising campaigns. I collaborated with the Director of Communications (Jenny Chen) and Communications Office (David Bernsilver) to ensure the concerts' tone came across the 33x86 poster displayed at Woolsey Hall and other advertisement materials including Facebook ads.
The result, both concerts nearly filling up a 2,650 seat auditorium.
